I sent them a letter last week. I needed help so i asked. 'You will get a reply within 48 hours' came up......... I'm still waiting. Do they actually have anyone there, when they see there is no money in it for them do they discard it or is there one part time worker dealing with any (laughing) help. What a waste of time this is.

Speaking of wasting time;

I am living in England now, NOT America. I have sent 4 emails to the 'help' at paypal, or what they laughingly call help and not even had the courtesy of a reply. Plain IGNORANCE.

You must just be slow.
Since you don't want help, feel free to rant all you want - I shan't bother with you again.

yes the help option is a myth.
I have all 3 of my credit cards declined. I have Amex, MC and Visa all ok the transactions I#ve called each) but paypal refuses to allow the transaction to go through; a transaction for $50... Paypal knows this: they sent a payment request for 1$ but STILL refused the transaction.
i have called repeatedly. They say: try again in several days. I did - same result.
they say: try to purchase the item for a lesser amount. I did (lesser quantity for lesser $ value). Same result.
Each time i have called Paypal. Their answer: a computer runs a program that blocks you: we can't do anything about it. When i tell them they have allowed the last 3 transactions to the same supplier over the last 14 months, they say ~ sorry.... What a **bleep**ing pathetic excuse (they didnt say that part; i did). I have no doubt there are plenty of scams but quit making your problem my problem already. A broken process exists that defies all common sense. They block out the good guys. Fix it already you idiots.
i'll keep calling them each evening until they change their mind. Its kind of funnty listening to their customer service squirm under pressure. Their managers as well.

Well, i wouldn't bother asking the pea brain who 'helped' me. Seems he has the IQ of a very short scrotum hair. If i am in England HOW the **** can i be in America too???????? The question is easy, but the answer, for all minions of paypal and of course, paypal itself, appears to be asking 'how do you turn lead into gold'. Intelligence has been denied to a few people.

Dear Newcasle, I would try somewhere other than paypal. Their logic leaves a **bleep** of a lot to be desired, they will lie, misinform and fob you off with more lies. The help section is a total waste of time. Far better to google for other, more advanced ways of payment and go with them. I have 134 feedbak score at 100%, yet they treat me like ****, i'm sure someone else would do this as well lol.

Help is not a myth. Numerous times over the past years I have either written to, via e-mail, or have called Paypal for help and have had excellent response.
