I just stumbled upon this post. Your email address is not public information in your Community Forums profile. It's visible to you only. You can see what I mean by looking at the profile of any other Community Forum member. You'll see that you cannot see their email address. When they look at their own profile, they can see their own email address, but they can't see yours when they look at your profile.
