Questions about the Canadian instant transfer?

Now that I will have my brand spankin new bank issued Debit/Credit Visa logo card, do I add it as a bank or CC & will you accept it as the exact same bank issued card that the Americans are issued?

Welcome to community chat!

First, congratulations on acquiring a Visa bank debit card out of Canada.  I know they're not that common and it's only just now some of the banks are starting to issue them.  Which is great news for PayPal members!

When you go to add the card, register it as a credit card, not as a bank account, and that will free up Instant Transfer for you!

Thanks Adrian..will be a huge relief.

My bank CIBC is the only bank in Canada that issues them besides maybe a credit union or two.

Can't wait to start using it woohoo.
