Can I get a text from paypal if someone pays me?

I was wondering if I can get a text on my phone if someone pays me through Paypal?  I am starting to plow snow and that way I know payment was made before I leave.

I saw options for smart phones, but I have a "non" smart phoe (Casio G-Zone - Boulder).  I searched for a while and could not find an answer. 

 Any help?

That's not what he/she meant. They are talking about SMS text message. Is this a feature they will have in the future? I have many transactions a day and I would like to get a text message to my mobile everytime there is a payment. NOT the Paypal mobile app for the iphone, android,etc.... where I have to physically log in to view the transactions.

Is that something that can be implemented?

At this time, PayPal does not offer the feature that you have requested. We're always considering developing new features and we appreciate your request.

In the meantime, the PayPal Developer Network has technical information and resources to help web developers build PayPal-enabled websites and utilize PayPal payment APIs. It's possible that someone has come up with a third-party solution for your problem.

You can access the PayPal Developer Network by going to the PayPal website and clicking "Developers" at the top of the page.

Just a suggestion....do you have forwarding capabilities with your email to your phone?  Maybe you could have all your PayPal emails forwarded to your phone via text.  I know my Yahoo mail account has the option of sending an email message to someone's phone as a text.

I found a solution!  If you have an Iphone, you can download the latest Paypal App and choose "Push Notification".  It will pop up on the screen everytime you have a payment. It works! I just got a payment notice just now and showed up on my screen.

That's one of the newer features. It's available on iPhone and Android platforms currently.

We're always working on new features, and we definitely do consider feedback. Thanks to all who made that suggestion!
