I linked my credit card with my old Paypal account, but I closed the old account without deleting the card from the account.
Now I registered a new account, and I can't link this card with it. The app shows:
This card is linked to another PayPal account. Please remove the card from the other account or try a different payment method.
The old paypal account is deleted, I can no more login. How can I proceed to link my card with the new account?

Thanks for the help @kernowlass! I understand you're looking to add your card to your PayPal account. If there has been repeated attempts, our security system may block the activity temporarily. Please wait for 24-48 hours and try again. if you still receive the same error message after the time frame, your best option would be contacting our team over phone to get this resolved. You can get the number by clicking the contact us option at the bottom of PayPal page.

So I'm linking my debit card to my Paypal account but I keep on getting the error that my card has been linked to another account already, even though it's not.

Hi, I closed all my accounts, and opened this new one. When I try to link my card it says it's linked to another account, but I already closed them. I'm not sure if I removed the card first and then closed the account, or if I just closed it. Is there anything that can be done? I can not find answer on PayPal, or internet, and it is very frustrating.

If you didn't remove it then allow 72 hours and try and add it again, if it doesn't work then you may have to ask customer services to remove / help you re-add it to you new account.

Allow 72 hours between removing and adding + clear cookies/cache and if no luck try another browser/device OR ask customer services for help to link it?
