How do I get my balance history?

How do I get my balance history? If we don't have the previous balance we can easily lost money! Why doesn't Paypal display the cumulative balance?

I understand that you want to get your balance history in PayPal. You can always check your balance/transaction history in the activity page of your PayPal account. You can also view and download your monthly statements which gives a quick overview of totals for payments received, amounts received, payment fees, refunds sent, amounts refunded, refunded fees, payments sent, amounts sent, other debits, other credits, and net amount. Additionally, the beginning and ending amounts for your overall balance, reserve balance, and available balance will be displayed.

There is no history in the activity page! Just final balance. So if there is a transaction that is not listed they can take my money and I will never know. That should be illegal. I won't let money in my paypal account and I will transfer all my money to my bank account as soon as I get it.
