My preferred payment method is my bank account, with a CC as a backup because PayPal forced this. I recently made a payment and noticed that PayPal switched the backup cc without my authorization. I went to my account to correct this and there is nowhere to change this setting. There is nothing in any account, back or cc setting that even mentions a cc as a backup to my bank account. PayPal is NOT authorized to use the cc they have randomly selected as a backup and there is no help or support to change this. Do I have to delete all of my cc cards to prevent this shady activity? How can they switch the cc card I want used as a backup without my authorization? And why is there no way to change it back to the way I set it up?
