Can’t link my bank account to my new PayPal account

I had a paypal account with this gmail where had my bank account linked but I deleted this account for a reason and created new one with same gmail and now when i try to link my bank account it says is connected to another account can anyone help me pls

Only Paypal customer services 'may' be able to remove a bank account from a closed Paypal account.
