Hi - I'm getting a message on my paypal dashboard that asks me to "add money to restore my balance" and says I'm £145 in deficit on PayPal. However I have only ever linked my paypal to my bank account so any payments should have come from there - I can't see how i could be in deficit. Is this a phishing scam??
does it show a minus balance in your paypal account after you have logged in?
if so then you may have had a failed transfer from your bank account, you may not have noticed as paypal pay the seller upfront whilst waiting for your payment to transfer from your bank, this is so their is no delay in the despatch of your item.
