Recover debit from a closed paypal account

Hello, i recently open and closed a paypal account with my debit still connected to it, and now i cant disconnect it to connect it to a new paypal account, anything i can do to fix it ? Your responses would be greatly appreciated

Only customer services 'may' be able to remove a card from a closed account for you.
