Linking a China bank to Paypal

Good day all, wondering if anyone can assist ?

Trying to connect my China Bank to Paypal, having entered SWIFT, bank address etc, but when it says enter account number 1-31 digits....

Is this my union pay bank card account number.. ? The same account number that is asked when linking my card

Am confused, given it's already cost me a $35 transfer fee, with the transaction having previously failed.
