I had insufficiënt funds on bank account when buying something, wasn't aware of this. My Paypal is linked to my bank account.

I added money to my bank account, not paypall account. Paypall took the sum of my bank account. My paypal is still negative, even though i can see that paypall took it by domiciliation.

Why is it still negative even though paypall took that sum by domiciliation?

Transfers from bank accounts are never instant, that is why when you buy something paypal credit the seller upfront for you and paypal take the wait for the funds to transfer to pay them back again, this is so you get your item without delay.

Takes 5-7 working days to transfer as Paypal use the slowest (cheapest) transfer option BUT funds normally leave your bank account from a few hours up to a few days later. So to resolve the negative balance you would need to wait that long for the funds to transfer.

So when I made a purchase paypall said -105,69 euro's. This happend on february 27. That's when I had the insufficiënt funds on my bank account. (I didn't know) When I realised, I put money on my bank account on march the 2nd.

My bank app shows that trough a domiciliation paypall took the -106,69 euro's on march the 3rd.

My bank app shows the purchase I made on february 27 : -105,69

but on march 1 it also did -105,69.

Did it make me pay twice because I didn't have the sufficient funds at first?

When the transfer completes then any surplus removed from your bank account (if it was deducted) would show as a + credit on your bank account and you can then withdraw it back to that bank account.

If you think you have been charged twice then reach out to customer services but I would allow time for the transfer to complete first.
