How to link paypal with Google Pay?

How can one link Google Pay and Paypal in 2022?

This link seems outdated: https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/google-pay-paypal

I can't seem to set this up in the current Google Pay app. There is no option to add Paypal.

I understand your concern about linking PayPal with Google Pay. You can add PayPal to Google Pay through the Google Pay app or through the PayPal app. To add through the PayPal app, tap the Settings gear icon, then Google Pay, then Set it Up. To add through the Google Pay app, log in to Google Pay and tap Add a payment method on the screen. Tap PayPal and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the setup. I don't understand, the directions don't make sense. I can't find the option to add, or when I think I've found something I can't complete a process. See screenshots . Can you provide a visual guide on iOS, because I'm not figuring this out.
