Error Message when linking a card

I've removed my debit card from a previous account (which has since been deactivated/deleted), but now when I try to link that card to my active account I get an error message that the card is linked elsewhere, how do I fix this?

Allow 72 hours between removing and adding + clear cookies/cache and if no luck try another browser/device OR ask customer services for help to link it?
