Cannot add debit/credit cards to account after using multiple prepaid cards

Hi,

I've been using prepaid visa gift cards to do multiple transactions a day. Since these cards are single use, once I use them I remove them from my account.

For the past ten days I've been using about twenty visa single use gift cards to pay for merchandise which I've all received and tracking confirmed as delivered.

However, when I try to add cards to my account now, it says "Your card has been declined. Please try a different payment method." This not an issue with the card/cards because I've tried multiple and my credit cards too.

Is there a limit on a number of cards we can add to PayPal per month? or a maximum transaction limit?

What would be the best way for me to resolve this issue?

Thank you.

Hi @shenathsilva,

Welcome to the community and thank you for your post.

I do understand your concern with this. During the lifetime of your PayPal account, you can add/remove a maximum of 15 cards. This is a set limit and cannot be overridden I'm afraid.

As it sounds like you have reached your limit, I would suggest you close your account and create a new one. With your new account please just use one or two debit/credit cards to prevent this happening again.

I hope this helps!
