Can't link a bank account, risk late payment.

Prior to mastercard paypal moving from synchrony to paypal all of my payments were set to autopay. 

The error I recieve when trying to add this bank account, is as follows:

This account needs a little help to link it. Contact us and we can help with that, or you can link a different account.

Routing and account numbers are correct, the same numbers were use with synchrony prior to the merger, this is an automated security block on PayPal's end.

 

Now unfortunately Paypal support sucks so I'm stuck in limbo waiting for someone to help me out with this, I'm hoping someone from PayPal is reading the community help forum because I'm not willing to pay a late fee for something like this, I don't really want to have to send a complaint to CFPB either.

 

I hope we can resolve this issue before my payment date dec 12 2022.

I was able to get a live agent on the phone, for others, if you are able to get to a prompt to talk to a live agent, or use SMS, wait till a live agent gets on the call. It sucks that it takes so long to resolve this issue. Be consistent and patient with the live representatives, eventually they will be able to help.
