Hi everyone! I just added a new card to my account and whenever I want to ask for a confirmation code it keeps on saying try again later. Is something wrong with my card or rather I should keep on waiting.

I do understand your concern with this. Based on what you have explained, it sounds like your card issuer is declining the confirmation charges. 

 

When you click confirm your card, we will make a small charge to your card. If your bank declines this charge, the confirmation process cannot be completed. 

 

I would suggest you contact your card issuer and resolve any issues with them directly. Once you do this, please try confirming your card again. This can be done by following the steps here

Hi Rachel I talked with my bank and yes they are not allowing the charge deduction. So now what to do? My Bank is HDFC from India. My Debit Card is available for international transactions and every settings are done correctly.

I am sorry to hear you bank will not allow the charges. I know this must be frustrating. Unfortunately, if your bank will not process the confirmation charges, then you won't be able to confirm your card on your PayPal account. The confirmation process cannot be overridden.

 

I would suggest you try adding an alternative bank/card to use on your PayPal account.
