Providing Merchants a Test Sale Process to see how the Paypal System works

Merchants would surely appreciate having a way to test and see how Paypal system works for Entrepreneurs selling something with Paypal buttons on their domains and webpages. But I did not see such an option. It is like quality control of Customer Service prior to start of selling operations. This business idea will enable a Merchant to correct errors if something does not turn out right. And it will prevent a bad customer experience from the very start. Does Paypal have such an option to first test the cycle from the time somebody clicks on the Paypal Button and purchases to the time the customer receives what was purchased and gets his or her thank you message ?

Hi,

You can see most PayPal flows here: https://demo.paypal.com

If you would like to test your integration, then Sandbox is the best place to do it. More details on https://developer.paypal.com/, specifically https://developer.paypal.com/docs/classic/lifecycle/ug_sandbox/

Thanks for your reply and recommendations to try a simulation of the process within Paypal. What I am interested in, however, is an ACTUAL test of the Paypal Link within my existing domain and website. Clickbank has such a system. Clickbank provides a way to generate an artificial Credit Card No. for testing so that the entire cycle can be done and the vendor would know what to expect and what to do whenever a customer arrives. The artificial Credit Card no. is generated within my Account Name. Then the ACTUAL payment link of clickbank will not accept any other Test Credit Card No. It enabled me to see what a customer will see online after payment, and what the vendor will receive once a customer pays. I saw the mistakes early enough to a stage wherein I had to revise the webpages themselves in order to ensure customers get to their Downloadable Ebook.

However, I learned a lot from your response. I still have to try the sandbox idea. My understanding though is that the sandbox is Paypal's Website simulator, whereas I am after my website's customer service using the Paypal Buttons and Links.
