digital downloads dispute

Hello

I ve been playing an online game for around 80 days. In the meantime I ve been spending money to progress in-game.

It's been a few days since I realised that the developers of the game have made a terrible mistake for which they didn't provide prior information so users get to know how they will continue playing the game. As a result, my gaming experience is ruined because of the lack of information, and I see no reason to keep playing the game.

I have decided to contact their customer service and ask for a partial refund, but they are not willing to compensate for their own mistakes (which they also recognise as problems).

Looking at the paypal dispute categories, there is no clear path to follow and fill the disputes under the right umbrella. They are supposed to be digital/virtual goods, but the sections of refunding support cases like: not using, incomplete download or not delivered. None of this seems to align with my case.

What am I supposed to do?

You don't really have cover for disputes for ''received but not as described'' for virtual/digital content, only non receipt of item.
