Why do PayPal show me amount in USD although I have a EURO account

Why do PayPal show me amount in USD although my attached card is Euro and the amount I am paying is also in Euro. Every time I have to pay more because of exchange rates

Check in your paypal wallet and make sure you have the primary currency icon next to Euros?

@kernowlass Thanks for your reply. I can see Euro in the wallet tab but not the symbol as you mentioned
