Just as the title describes. Bought a bus ticket online (in the UK, in sterling), Paypal's default method is my current (sterling) account. but instead Paypal managed to chose a (different) Euro-denominated current account, just because it was first on the list (and yes, I've checked my sterling account is my "preferred method). It was only £2 (or €2.26 ;-)) but for a larger purchase it would potentially be more problematic. Anyone any idea
i) what went wrong?
ii) how to fix it ?

If there is an automatic payment profile set up with this merchant, the funding sources are controlled from automatic payments settings:
- Go to Settings.
- Click the Payments tab.
- Click Manage Automatic Payments.
- Click the merchant.
- On this page, you can cancel the automatic payment and change the backup funding source.
If that’s not it, then sometimes a funding source might not be available for security reasons and PayPal would choose the next available funding source.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
