Setting up a Direct Debit

Hi,
It seems I cannot set up a direct debit between Wise and PayPal. PayPal seems to have accepted it, but this does not show up in my Wise account.
I do have funds, and the currency that this is about, is euro. Could you kindly  help? I did contact Wise too.
