PayPal balance not showing in funding sources for automatic payments

I can't use my PayPal balance as a funding source for automatic payments, everything is being charged to my card. When you go to Payments -> Automatic payments-> Manage funding sources it only shows me my credit card. I can't turn it off or anything, it's just there alone, I'm completely unable to use the balance for recurring payments.

The credit card option is the only option as a funding source in your country unfortunately.
