Not able to make any payments in JPY from today.

I have not been able to make any JPY payments. The sites I have been trying to are Surugaya and Hobby Genki (I was paying off an order and was forced to end up using stripe and paying with card directly as Paypal just wouldn't).

I have contacted Paypal already via live chat and nothing was fixed, JPY seems to be the only currency I use that seems affected, it's converted from GBP on my end. I am able to pay in USD. As soon as I log into Paypal on any of these sites ready to pay, it immediately goes to Something has gone wrong. Does anyone know a fix?

(I have also made sure to clear my browser cache/cookies so I can rule this out as well as this I have tried two different browsers/devices).

You are having the same problem as me, seems like it's a Paypal issue.

I'm also from the UK and can't make a paypal payment with AmiAmi today which is also in JPY. Made a JPY payment yesterday fine with FromJapan but today I get the "We're sorry, it seems that something went wrong." error message from Paypal.

Yea, it seems to be an issue with Paypal and JPY especially as I heard from someone else on a discord I asked if there were issues, and they say others have mentioned it, at least my card works, I hope Paypal fix whatever has went wrong with their system.

Worked as soon as midnight hit and the day changed, certianly some kind of weird system error of theirs.
