i've a PayPal business account for about 20 years. Used it only on few occasions during entire period for the part-time freelancer and micro services payments without issues until November 2023, when micro payment was reversed without any clear explanation but following notice:
"This payment has been reversed
From time to time, PayPal must review a payment more closely to ensure it complies with the established User Agreement and our global regulatory obligations. We identified a risk that prevents us from completing this payment. We apologize for the inconvenience. For more information, see our User Agreement and Acceptable Use Policy."
Is the PayPal business account as before reliable for a temporary small business (periodic income) without much payments history on records in terms of similar transaction checks and reversals?
I can not process my freelancing services if those events at PayPal could repeat on the regular basis, can someone confirms how is it in nowadays practised at PayPal?
