I didn't even know there was an issue with this part, cuz I went right to the card option listed above. What my concern is now is.will they accept the payment. Do you have experience that tells you they will... I'm obviously trying to avoid the fees PayPal charges and Zelle doesn't. But, if it won't actually be accepted by PayPal, it's not a great savings, ya know? Thanks a lot! I appreciate you!

Well also did that and I can't get my money to show up on my card if it is actually linked.

I just now tried what you tried and yes it is possible. I have no bank account and do all my money things through paypal. I got the zelle app and linled my paypal in a couple steps. Very handy.

Hi @Ccbass666 and everyone!

Thank you all for your posts, and welcome to the PayPal community for the new people, and welcome back for anyone returning!

I wanted to provide some clarification. It may be possible with Zelle to add a card that is funded by your PayPal account, such as the PayPal Debit Mastercard. It may also be possible to add PayPal as a payment method into a Zelle PayPal account. I'm not entirely sure because that involves the Zelle system, but it seems that a few people in this thread have found success with adding a PayPal card. I suggest reviewing the Zelle help pages and/or contacting Zelle for more information about adding funding methods.

To clarify however, the send money and receive money features of the PayPal service will not work cross-platform with Zelle at this time.

I hope this helps!

Olivia

It feels Kafka-esque giving kudos to this post. But, I think this has pertinent info that others may find useful. To clarify, I'm NOT praising what the answer is! - In fact, both PayPal AND Zelle should be ashamed that this still is a major flaw on both sides. I'm just trying to raise it's value in the google-sphere, & hopefully save other non-traditional consumers a few hours of haystack needle-hunting & round hole pegging w/ squares (or rectangles in the case of debit cards). But it seems a lot of people are looking for this information. Which means a lot of consumers are going unserviced because they don't bank traditionally. You'd think that someone might have gotten inspired (or bored. Even desperate) enough during the Dali-ish start of the '20's. Through 2 1/2 years of pj-suit meetings, the crypto chaos, & the gig-splosion, how has no one solved this problem?

You are actually incorrect with your answer. So to help everybody out this is what you do if you have a PayPal debit card, I don't know about the credit card but PayPal debit card that is linked to your PayPal balance you are able to do this I was trying to have somebody send me money through Zelle to my PayPal account. So I went to Zelle linked my PayPal debit card with the routing and account number it worked to get the Zelle account. We then tested him sending me $1 through Zelle to my linked account which is the paypal debit card and it showed as it was pending in my PayPal account. It was pending for about 30 minutes and now it's in my Balance on PayPal I'm not sure how it works for businesses as this is a personal account but it does work for personal and now I have That $1 that is available to use so I will now have them send the rest of the money.

Hello! I'm on the app and I don't see a spot to enter the routing and account number. Just the debit card info
