Error regarding a prepaid debit card

I got this error while using a prepaid credit to check-out on eBay "This card can't be used for this transaction." I just activated the prepaid card this evening and sometimes it won't let me use at as an optional payment method and only my balance shows up. Anyone knows what the solution to this is?

Welcome to the PayPal Community! I'm sorry to hear you've run into some issues making a purchase with PayPal. Normally, we don't recommend using a prepaid card with PayPal as you may run into issues with temporary authorizations or certain subscription based services. Also, you may run into an issue if you receive a refund and you no longer have the card to use. If you're running into that specific issue when adding a prepaid card, we would recommend trying to add a non-prepaid debit or credit card to your PayPal account.
