Charged for declined transaction

I tried to make a purchase with a Commbank Steppay card via PayPal, the website said the transaction was declined and there is no record of my purchase, PayPal itself isn’t showing a transaction, and yet my card in the commbank app says it’s been charged. Someone please help 😫

Welcome to the PayPal Community! I understand your concern regarding the transaction in your bank account. Please check if the transaction is showing as completed or pending. If the transaction is pending then it is an authorization charge which will be expired automatically.
