Automatic transfer to a closed account

An automatic transfer to my preferred bank account was done for the funds that I got in my account. My bank account was Paytm Payments Bank that has been suspended by force of Reserve Bank of India. So my bank can't receive money but automatic transfer is shown as successful. SO my money is lost. How can I get it back?

(I am trying to contact with customer care help  of pay pal as of now 🙂

If the transfer fails the funds should bounce back to your paypal balance.

Allow a couple of weeks and if no sign contact customer services for a trace?

Hi, Even I faced the same issue.
I forgot to change the bank account on paypal. Now regretting badly.

Did you find any solution?
Paypal shows Transfer Complete ! But, payam bank shows no additional amount.
Feeling very frustrated!

I got solution. I contacted customer care and he was a polite person. He put a request for refund with priority. I got my money back. But PayPal fee around <300 was deducted. After few days I got 5$ from PayPal. If you are facing same issues, contact customer care. That's best option . All the best 😊

Hello Everyone!
Even I had the same problem. I got the amount except with a very minor charges.
Contacted the customer care after some trial and errors from the chat bot!
I was worried so much. But, the support team assured to get the amount. Also changed the default bank to other in which I got the amount.
It took around 7 days for me.
After getting amount, I removed the paytm payments bank account and unlinked all accounts from the upis and etc., It was a nightmare!
Thank you Paypal Team for their support!
