Why does the status 'order processed' suddenly require a tracking number

FOR PAYPAL SUPPORT/TECH/UX TEAM:

For the past 10 days or so, when clearing payment a new version of the UI has been appearing occasionally.

Normally, I enter 'Order processed', click submit and it updates the order information.  This new version of the UI requires that I enter a tracking number and courier information.  I sell services that are delivered at the moment of sale - there is nothing to ship, so these extra steps are odious at best. It was bad enough when you started forcing me open each card in the SPA-ish interface before I could get to the payment processing screen, this just adds two additional - and totally unnecessary - steps to that already very scratchy process.

Hello, thank you for your message, It seems that their tracking page is not functioning as expected and has some errors even with this method. Can you please let me know if this method worked for you or if you are looking for an alternative solution to track your package?
