Having trouble transferring my paypal money to my credit card which was successfully linked. Getting a message saying that the Transfer cannot be done in minutes?? Page will not go beyond that point. There were 2 options to pay 1.5% fee to transfer in minutes or 1-3 business days. Not getting through with either!!

As you have not added your country to your profile (so we can see when we hover over your username) or said in your post which country you are in then sadly can't advise.
Paypal varies a great deal country to country so you need to tell us where you are on this worldwide community forum.

I am physically in Trinidad and Tobago.  I thought I successfully linked my card as I saw the verification process was successful in my email.  So all this time I thought everything was ok for me to withdraw from paypal only to be shocked that I could not withdraw my funds.  There were 2 options: Select Transfer in minutes for a fee of 1.5% or 1-3 business days. I tried the former, and an error message came up 'Transfer cannot be done in minutes with this card' Then I tried the other option and got the same error. Transfer cannot be done.  Then I tried clicking 'request payment by cheque in the mail'. And the button leads to nowhere.

So do you have a Trinidad and Tobago paypal account?

Only sounds as if you have a U.S one?

If it is a Trinidad and Tobago paypal account then ...

Read this link as you are in one of the affected countries.

Well, I went to Paypal.com and signed up for an account many many years ago. But I was not given the option nor was I aware that there is a Paypal Trinidad branch.  I just tried googling that but nothing except that Paypal got the go ahead for Trinidad about a decade ago.  It would be so helpful if customers knew what cards are eligible upfront to avoid wasting time linking cards or methods that will not work for them. When I realised I couldn't transfer my paypal funds to my credit card, I decided to use the money directly from Paypal to pay a subscription that I have every month, and the money was taken from my credit card instead of paypal even though I went to the website and selected paypal as the payment method. I sat there just watching my credit card fees piling on which could have been prevented if the money went to my credit card first. So now I am even more confused than before! But thanks I will read up on the link and remain hopeful! Lol

Suggest you read what countries paypal account you have first.

Go to settings next to log out and check the nationality on the middle/left side of that page.

Normally when you click REGISTER on paypals site to open a paypal account there is a drop down box and you scroll down and open one for the country you are living in.
