When will "pending" go away?

Hi! I attempted to purchase something online during a Black Friday event, and the result was my PayPal account got charged twice for the same amount and yet my items remained in my cart.  The company can't help me because they don't show an order to "cancel" as the items are still in the cart and they haven't received money.  My PP shows these amounts as "pending".  It's been 4 days.  When should I expect PP to stop holding these funds?  Or am I to do something on my end in PP?

When you pay a company then it is often pending or awaiting authorisation until that company processes your order and captures the pending payment.

If they don't process the order and capture that payment then the pending status times out at 30 days post-payment and returns back to your funding source.
