When someone enters my phone number Paypal says I don't have an account

People often send me money through paypal by typing in my phone number. Today, paypal said something like "this person does not have a paypal account." I had someone else try and the same thing happened. A week ago someone tried to send me money and although it showed my name on their end and money came out of their account, I did not receive it. Any idea whats happening?

I am sorry to hear this. Based on what you have explained, it sounds like your account may be affected by a technical issue. 

Firstly, I would suggest you check your email address and phone number are confirmed in your PayPal account. Simply follow the steps here. 

If your phone number and email address are confirmed, I would advise you to check your 'Resolution Center' for any unresolved issues. Alternatively, you can click here.
