Unable to transfer money into my PayPal account from my bank

I never had trouble before.  Now I get the message

 

We're sorry. We're not able to process your request right now. Please try again later.

 

Is anyone else having trouble?

I've been having a 'chat' with PayPal and apparently it has to do with PayPal security. Unfortunately the phone numbers in my record are no longer good so they cannot verify with a text. Suggest you make sure your phone numbers are correct and then contact paypal.

No. And the problem has been solved.

 

Turned out I had an old landline phone number in the account. I had to update it with my current cell phone number. Did that and all is good.
