Transaction not appearing anywhere. Only email.

My friend sent me €22 yesterday cus he owed me money. I got an email for it but it’s not in my account or even in my transaction history so I can’t select it to get help. What can I do? The email was normal and said to just wait a minute until the money came in. But it’s been over 24 hours. I’m going on holidays soon and need this resolved ASAP please 😕

Check if the email is really sent by PayPal by checking the raw email header. If your friend sent money to correct PayPal account then it should appear in your account history. If you see nothing, then dude didn’t pay you. Ask for transaction ID so you can get it traced with customer services.

I watched him send the money as we were standing shoulder to shoulder. The email is from PayPal. This is a PayPal issue, nothing my friend did. The email contains a transaction ID so I’m in contact with customer service now. Thanks for your help.
