trying to buy a single month subscription and the option of choosing my PayPal balance is not available. Only my associated credit card or bank account, which I do not want to use for the purchase. balance is 10x more than subscription price.

I see you would like to set up a subscription payment and want to use your PayPal balance as preferred funding source. I want to inform you that, PayPal balance is the first priority when you pay for subscriptions. However, it is required to set up a card or bank with the subscription to make sure there is a back up funding source if PayPal balance is not available or the transactions does not go through.
