Refund processing issue

Hello, 

 

I have issued refund on the card payment that I have received previously. 

As there was insufficient PayPal balance, refund gone to “pending” status and was about to be processed from my linked bank account as e-cheque, but Direct Debit bounced back. 

Now I have sufficient PayPal balance for refund to be processed, but it still says “pending” and same old info that it will be processed from my bank acct. 

 

I called customer support and asked to change funding source to PayPal balance , but it seams they can’t do that. 

Question: will the system try to process  refund later automatically using  my PayPal balance or it will still peruse payment from my bank account and how do I change it to debit my PayPal balance.

It would take it from your bank account, why not withdraw the funds instantly to your bank account?
