I have linked a card in my Paypal account but the card is not named after me. Although the card linking was successful, I tried sending money to another Paypal account with the card as the payment method but the transaction was unsuccessful. Does anyone know the reasons behind it?
Don’t use someone else’s card on your PayPal account. Never a good idea. The names don’t match when/if PayPal ever requests an identity verification asking for card statement and you get the boot.
Perhaps linking card and using card go through different verification processes.
