Pay in 3 double payment

Not sure of this is in the right place. My last pay in 3 installment was today. I was up early, and I thought I may as well just pay it manual. So, I did. I got a email saying it was accepted, and the pay in 3 account showed as fulfilled. However, I've just received a text from my bank saying I'm overdrawn. I've checked the bank. PayPal, has still taken the scheduled payment for the pay in 3 account, for the final payment, that was due today. My question is what happens to this money? How do I get it back? Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the PayPal Community and thank you for your post!

I do understand your concern with this. If you want to make a manual payment to pay off your plan, it must be done at least 48 hours before your payment is due. 

As you made the payment on the same day as it was due, this is why the scheduled payment was still processed. Once the second payment is processed from your bank account, it will be placed onto your PayPal balance. You will then have the option to withdraw it back to your bank account.
