No email confirmation for purchase

Usually I receive an email confirmation from PayPal after a purchase. I made a purchase yesterday which was confirmed by the vendor but I have not received an email confirmation from PayPal nor is the transaction showing in my account. Does this mean the purchase has not gone through. Any ideas how I can check?

Welcome to the PayPal Community! I'm sorry to hear you're running into some issues with a recent purchase. First, I'd recommend double-checking with the vendor that the payment has indeed completed. If it has, and the email you used to check out with is the same one as the one on your registered PayPal account, I'd recommend reaching out to our Customer Support teams for further assistance. They can be reached by clicking "Contact" at the bottom of any PayPal page.
