Money from my family is on hold. How to solve?

My money is on hold. It is from my family. My father sent me. 
I did not sell or buy anything.
I am a student and this is not good that my money is on hold now.
There is no product selling involved in this still if it is not hold then it is very unfair.
Please do something urgent.

If your family sent the funds as goods/services then paypal would see you as the seller and apply the hold for new sellers.

So why did they not use the friends/family option when you would not get a hold?

Try marking the transaction as processed then the sender may have the option on their account to mark the transaction as delivery/satisfied. If the sender confirms this by clicking on the "Confirm Receipt" button, funds may be released sooner ie 7 days after the sender verifies receipt. This is not always available or guaranteed. 
If not then sadly its 21 days.
