Money I put on account

So I put $$$ on my account Fir 1/7 at around 4pm by Sat still not posted, when I reached out to PayPal by messenger they said didn't have verification of payment so I sent a copy of the receipt to them thru messenger.   Now the are telling me the merchant I went thru uses Green Dot and it will take 7-10 days to investigate.

Is this normal?   I am new to this and very upset that my $$$ isn't on my account

Give PayPal time to investigate.

Adding money to PayPal outside of using a bank account can be glitchy on occasion. Not that the bank account method doesn’t glitch out too.
