My username is [removed] I mistakenly sent a friend's and family payment to a Victor [removed] but was trying to send it to my son Victor [removed] Victor. I have sent request for a refund to his email and sent request for a payment thru PayPal with no response. Does anyone know this user? Is there a way to get a refund?
All you can do is to reach out to the recipient and ask for a refund but if he refuses then paypal customer services can't force him to do so but you could ask them to request him to do so and he may voluntarily refund if they do so.
If not and you funded your paypal payment via a credit card then see if your card issuer will chargeback but unlikely as it was a gift and not goods/services payment.
