I can't transfer my funds. My number is linked but doesn't as for it to verify

I just added a phone number yesterday to my account. I'm trying to transfer my funds to my debit card but it says it can't verify my identity. When I call it says my number is linked to my account but doesn't let me verify so what can I do

The only solution I have found is spending a little over an hour on the phone with customer service. It takes a long time because automated services will try very hard to get you to do the same thing over and over. Then the customer service does the same. Just smile and remain cheery and stay on the line and eventually it gets resolved - until next time.
