I added wrong swift code and don't know where my money is

I added wrong swift code of my bank, TPBVVNVXXXX as PayPal suggested (the correct is TPBVVNVX) and transferred my money from PayPal to this bank account.

The withdraw status was successful on PayPal.

It's been over two weeks I haven't got my money yet.

So this money is stuck at my bank or will be transferred back to PayPal? Or any solution?

Hello, @chinhld. I'm sorry to hear there's been a problem with a transfer to your bank.

 

In general, money sent to an incorrect bank or incorrect account will be returned to PayPal. Once we receive the money back in our system, it will be deposited into your PayPal account.

 

However, the time frame for this can't be pinpointed since PayPal has no control over money moving through the financial system. In PayPal's experience, it can take about two weeks for money to get back to us, but I've seen situations where it took 6 weeks or more.

 

We can only wait alongside you for money to be returned to us. In the mean time, it may be beneficial to consult with your bank in case they are able to locate the funds in the financial system.

I also have the same issue with this, Right bank number, Right bank name but wrong swift code. So i'm actually have to wait like 6 weeks to solve this problem?
