Huge transaction fee and account on hold - new user

I am a Consultant working for a UK based NGO. I was supposed to receive this month's payment but my account and payment has been put on hold for some bizarre reason. I have been charged with a phenomenal transaction fee of USD26.31 and I am from India. I am a new account holder and I am not sure how this service works. I have also uploaded all supporting documents online through the limitations section and my bank and account has been already linked. Please help regarding this issue ASAP, as I am not able to phone call any representative in India.
