How do i get a refund of money sent to the wrong account

I have sent money to the wrong account using the friends and family option

You don't have a lot of options however...........

1. Reach out to that wrong email address recipient and explain what happened and request that they issue you with a refund.

2. If they refuse then contact customer services and ask them to reach out to the recipient and ask. However if they refuse again Paypal can't force them to refund as it was sent as a 'gift' of money.

3. If you funded your Paypal payment via a credit card then you could ask your card issuer for a chargeback, again however they may refuse again as it was a gift payment and not a payment for goods or services.

Tx u..no one can help coz u send it as a gift..wish they could change the law so bank or paypal can request for refund from their account
