How do I identify sender?

I only use my account for reimbursement to friends and family and occasional purchases from Internet. Last night I found someone had sent me money I wasn't expecting. There was no identifying information attached to the transaction at all. I accepted the money thinking I would then learn who sent it but no. How do I find the identity of the sender?

Click on the transaction and there could be more information on that details page.

Sometimes its a mistake as someone has made an error with their email address, if that is so then offer to use the refund option BUT if you were charged a fee that is not returned when you refund then probably best to do a part refund so that they pay the fee as it was their error?
