I have bought goods through PayPal but never sold anything this way.  How do I set up this and how safe is it from scammers?

Your account already has ability to receive payments. Just use the various payment tools (see the “Start selling right away” section) PayPal has to accept payments. You can create and send a PayPal Invoice or PayPal Buy Now email link to customer’s email address, share your PayPal.Me link, use PayPal goods and service QR code to accept payments, PayPal Checkout integration (if you have a website) or customer can send payment from their account with your email address.

And how safe is it from scammers?

Things to note:

- Always check your account for record of payment first before shipping goods.
- Payments may be subject to PayPal 21 day hold but you still see record of payment in your account.
- Business accounts are not required to receive money.
- Upgrading to a business account from personal account is free.

- PayPal automatically deducts their fees from your incoming payments.

You can always come here and ask if you feel something is fishy but I highly recommend you reading:

and all the topics in the Help Centre before trying to wing it at selling as that helps prevent most scams and you learn how PayPal accounts really work.

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
