Hi all, i can't seem to locate the Scan/Pay button on my paypal app. where is it at?

Hi all, I am located in Singapore and have a valid/working paypal account. I am trying to use the paypal mobile app to scan and pay someone. But there is no Scan/Pay button on the app. Where can I find it? or must I somehow activate it first? Tks!
